A federal district court in Washington denied Luxor Technology Corporation’s motion for a temporary restraining order in this trade secret misappropriation, tortious interference, and breach of contract action against Giga Energy Inc. and a former employee. The court said that Luxor’s breach of contract and tortious interference claims don’t present a likelihood of success on the merits, and that Luxor didn’t adequately establish that the allegedly misappropriated record constitutes a trade secret.
