The District of Massachusetts granted in part and denied in part a former employee’s motion for summary judgment on Koch Acton Inc.’s trade secret misappropriation claims. The court found that Koch Acton failed to take reasonable precautions to maintain secrecy because it didn’t require the former employees to sign confidentiality and nondisclosure agreements. And the court said that Koch Acton’s secrecy efforts were insufficient to support a claim for trade secret misappropriation.
