Case: Trade Secrets/Procedure (S.D.N.Y.)

A federal district court in New York granted in part and denied in part a former employee’s motion to dismiss Cartiga LLC’s trade secrets misappropriation, tortious interference with prospective economic advantage, breach of fiduciary duty, and breach of contract action. The court denied the employee’s motion to dismiss the misappropriation and breach of contract claims for failure to state a claim, and denied her motion to dismiss for lack of subject matter jurisdiction, lack of personal jurisdiction, and improper venue.
