Case: Trade Secrets/Pleadings (S.D. Cal.)

A federal district court in California granted in part and denied in part Medimpact Healthcare Systems Inc., Medimpact International LLC, Medimpact International Hong Kong Ltd., and an individual’s motion to dismiss IQVIA Inc’s action for trade secrets misappropriation, violation of RICO, breach of fiduciary duty and duty of loyalty, and civil conspiracy. IQVIA claimed Medimpact stole confidential and proprietary drug-to-diagnosis indication and contraindication edits. The court granted the motion to dismiss the RICO cause of action and denied the motion to dismiss the remaining causes of action.
