A federal district court in New York granted Haircraft by Paul & Ben Inc.'s motion to dismiss Prospect Hair LLC’s claim for violation of the Defend Trade Secrets Act and declined to exercise jurisdiction over its New York common law claims. The court said that Haircraft’s customer list wasn’t a trade secret, and that Haircraft didn’t allege that it took reasonable measures to keep the list secret.
