The district of Kansas granted Tank Connection LLC’s motion to dismiss CST Industries Inc.’s trade secret misappropriation claim. The court found that CST’s specific designs for aluminum roofs were protectable trade secrets, but that the complaint didn’t contain any factual allegations that support an inference that Tank had improperly acquired CST’s proprietary designs and calculations from its former employees.
