A federal district court in Texas denied BCCK Engineering Inc. and BCCK Holding Co.’s motion to dismiss Charis Engineering LLC’s claim for a declaratory judgment of noninfringement of BCCK’s trade secrets and patents, and tortious interference claims. The court found that Charis sufficiently pleaded bad faith, and that the court had subject matter jurisdiction over the declaratory judgment claim.
