A federal district court in Pennsylvania denied Local Yokels Fudge LLC’s motion for a new trial following a jury verdict in favor of Chocolate Moonshine LLC on Chocolate Moonshine’s trade secret misappropriation claim. The court found that Local Yokels failed to demonstrate that the court committed an error when denying its motion in limine on the merits. And the court said that the parties’ prior consent order was a valid order of the court, not a contract, and that refusal to permit evidence of a breach during the trial wasn’t erroneous.
