Case: Trade Secrets/New Trial (C.D. Cal.)

A federal district court in California denied Prime Marketing LLC’s motion for a new trial and granted Equate Media Inc., Budget Van Lines Inc., Quote Runner LLC, and Home Expert Inc.’s motion for a permanent injunction enjoining the use, copying, and disclosure of protected trade secrets. The court held that under the rule of mandate doctrine, it didn’t have jurisdiction to overturn a prior ruling and that all of the injunctive relief factors favored Equate.
