Case: Trade Secrets/Misappropriation (S.D.N.Y.)

A federal district court in New York granted Acxiom LLC’s motion for summary judgment on Adstra LLC’s trade secret misappropriation claims. The court held that Acxiom couldn’t be liable for misappropriation because it had lawful access to the alleged secrets, and the court therefore didn’t address whether the claimed information was a protectable trade secret or whether Acxiom used it to obtain an economic benefit.
