Case: Trade Secrets/Misappropriation (6th Cir.)

The Sixth Circuit affirmed a federal district court in Ohio’s grant of summary judgment on Professional Investigating & Consulting Agency Inc.’s trade secret misappropriation claim against SOS Security LLC. The court held that PICA sufficiently identified the alleged trade secret and showed that SOS had access to proprietary information, but failed to show how SOS used PICA’s trade secret in developing its security services.
