A federal district court in California denied a former corporate officer’s motion to dismiss Gigacloud Technology Inc.’s trade secret misappropriation claim for lack of personal jurisdiction. The court held that the corporate officer’s contacts with the forum could establish personal jurisdiction over him in his individual capacity because he was a primary participant in the alleged misappropriation.
