Case: Trade Secrets/Injunctions (S.D.N.Y.)

A federal district court in New York granted LoanDepot.com LLC a preliminary injunction in its action against Crosscountry Mortgage LLC for trade secrets misappropriation, breach of contract, tortious interference with contract, tortious interference with prospective economic advantage, breach of fiduciary duty, aiding and abetting breach of fiduciary duty, and unfair competition. The court enjoined Crosscountry from using or disclosing any document or information that remained in employees’ possession after leaving LoanDepot, that was obtained because of or through employment, and that contain non-public customer information that was downloaded or obtained from LoanDepot.
