Case: Trade Secrets/Injunction (S.D Ind.)

December 9, 2019, 8:50 PM UTC

Genesys Telecommunications Laboratories Inc.'s amended motion for a preliminary injunction on its claims for the misappropriation of trade secrets is denied, as is Genesys’ motion for leave to submit additional specificity for the injunction, rules a federal district court in Indiana. Because of the substantial and compelling evidence concerning the public nature of Genesys’ information, the court is unable to conclude at this stage of the litigation that Genesys is likely to succeed on the merits of the claims. The evidence raises doubt that the information Genesys seeks to protect is indeed secret. The case is Genesys Telecomms. Labs. Inc. v. Morales, 2019 BL 467776, S.D. Ind., No. 1:19-cv-00695-TWP-DML, 12/6/19
