Case: Patents/Summary Judgment (N.D. Cal.)

A federal district court in California granted in part and denied in part Kawasaki Jukogyo Kabushiki Kaisha and Rorze Corporation’s cross-motions for summary judgment on this action for infringement of patents that relate to the handling of silicon wafers used in semiconductor manufacturing. The court granted in part and denied in part Kawasaki’s motions for partial summary judgment and to exclude expert testimony. And the court denied Rorze’s motions for summary judgment and for judgment on the pleadings.
