Case: Patents/Summary Judgment (Fed. Cir.)

The Federal Circuit affirms the decision of the District of Delaware granting summary judgment of noninfringement in favor of Sony Group Corporation and Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC, on Genuine Enabling Technology LLC’s action for infringement of a patent that relates to input devices for a computer. The appeals court affirmed the district court’s determination that GET raised no genuine issue of material fact as to whether Sony’s accused products infringe its patent, as well as its exclusion of testimony from GET’s expert.
