A federal district court in New York denied Snappyscreen Inc.'s motion for summary judgment on Sunscreen Mist Holdings LLC’s action for infringement of a patent for a SPF vending machine and method. According to the court, whether there is a material factual dispute depends largely on the extent that the witnesses’ testimony is admissible. And the court said that claim construction is necessary before summary judgment.
