Case: Patents/Summary Judgment (D. Del.)

The District of Delaware granted Ubiquiti Inc.'s motion for partial summary judgment on Network-1 Technologies Inc.'s claim of indirect infringement of a patent that disclsoses an apparatus and method for remotely powering access equipment over a 10/100 switched ethernet network. According to the court, N1 failed to create a genuine dispute of material fact as to whether Ubiquiti had pre-suit knowledge of the patent or its infringement. And the court said that N1 didn’t show that Ubiquiti was willfully blind.
