A federal district court in Texas granted Bote LLC’s motion for a stay of Twitch LLC’s action for infringement of patents for inflatable paddle board, pending the Patent Trial and Appeal Board’s inter partes reviews. According to the court, a stay will simplify the issues, the case is in an early stage of litigation, and a stay will reduce the burden of litigation.
