The Court of Federal Claims granted the U.S.'s motion to dismiss an inventor and NetzVision LLC’s action for infringement of a patent that discloses infrared sensor technology. The court said that the inventor failed to allege sufficient facts to plausibly demonstrate that the government infringed or authorized the infringement of the patent, failed to put the government on notice regarding which products allegedly infringe the patent, and that NetzVision lacks Article III standing to pursue its case.
