The Federal Circuit dismissed an individual’s appeal from an order of a federal district court in California adding him as a debtor to an existing judgment against his company, Pop Top Corp., as well as his motion for sanctions against Rakuten Kobo Inc. and its counsel and a stay, in Pop Top’s action for patent infringement. The appeals court held that it lacks jurisdiction due to the individual’s failure to file a timely notice of appeal.
