The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of a federal district court in Texas granting DBG Group Investments LLC and others summary judgment on Puradigm LLC’s action for infringement of a patent that relates to photo-catalytic cells used for air purification. The appeals court affirmed the district court’s finding that the scope of the patent was limited by prosecution history, and said that the district court properly construed the claim term “specular UV reflector.”
