Case: Patents/Procedure (Fed. Cir.)

The Federal Circuit remanded Vroom Inc.'s action seeking a declaration of non-infringement of Sidekick Inc.'s patents to the District of New Jersey for the limited purpose of the district court’s consideration of the parties’ request for vacatur. The appeals court remanded after the parties filed a motion to stay these appeals while they worked to effectuate settlement and asked the district court for an indicative ruling that it would vacate its prior patent-ineligibility decisions if the Federal Circuit remanded.
