The District of Delaware denied Quasar Science LLC, Cinelease Inc., Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., and Fox Corporation’s motion to dismiss Colt International Clothing Inc.'s action for infringement of five patents relating to lighting systems. The court said that Colt won’t be allowed to seek pre-suit damages against Sony and Fox as to four patents or against Warner as to two patents, for willful infringement against Warner as to two patents, and for pre-suit damages from Quasar Delaware as to one patent.
