The district of Delaware denied Inari Agriculture Inc. and Inari Agriculture NV’s motion to dismiss Corteva Agriscience LLC, Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc., and Agrigenetics Inc.'s action for infringement of a utility patent that discloses and claims insect-resistant corn seeds, plants, and tissues, and related claims. The court said that the claims for infringement of Corteva’s plant variety protection certificates and patent infringement survive, as do the claims for breach of material transfer agreements, unfair or deceptive conduct, and conversion.
