A federal district court in Texas denied USAA Federal Savings Bank’s motion to dismiss PACid Technologies LLC’s action for infringement of patents that allegedly address methods for authenticating a user to make sure nefarious actors are prevented from accessing communications across networks. According to the court, dismissal would be premature due to factual disputes and disagreement about the representativeness of a patent claim.
