Case: Patents/Ownership (D. Mass.)

The District of Massachusetts allowed Videray Technologies Inc.'s motion to dismiss Viken Detection Corporation’s action challenging the inventorship and ownership of a patent that discloses an enclosed x-ray chopper wheel. The court dismissed Viken’s claim for correction of inventorship for lack of standing, and dismissed Viken’s claims for a declaration of ownership and for rescission of the parties’ settlement agreement for failure to state a claim.
