Challenged claims of NetSocket Inc.'s patent that describes a virtual leased line between a source and destination in different domains, to achieve packet transfer between a source in one domain and a destination in another domain, are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board said, in an inter partes review by Cisco Systems Inc.
