The Patent Trial and Appeal Board determined that challenged claims of Multifold International Incorporated Pte. Ltd.'s patent directed to methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface in a dual screen device are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, in an inter partes review by Motorola Mobility LLC and Google LLC. The board said that the challenged claims are obvious over prior art directed to a portable information terminal and to incorporating a camera into a handheld device.
