The Patent Trial and Appeal Board determined that challenged claims of Ericsson AB’s patent directed to managing encryption key rotation and secure key distribution in over-the-top content delivery are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, in an inter partes review by Google LLC and Lenovo (United States) Inc.
