Challenged claims of Power2B Inc.'s patent that relates to displays, information input devices, and user interface functionalities are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board determined, in an inter partes review by Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and Samsung Electronics America Inc. According to the board, the challenged claims are obvious over prior art that relates to a touch sensitive device in an electronic device or a wireless telecommunication terminal, and to computing and mobile devices with displays.
