The Patent Trial and Appeal Board found that challenged claims of Danco Inc.'s patent that discloses a toilet valve are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, in an inter partes review by Fluidmaster Inc. The board held that the challenged claims are obvious over prior art titled “Toilet Water Tank Water Supply Switching Device,” “Toilet Flushing Device,” and “Quick Connection Art.”
