Claims of Koninklijke Philips N.V.'s patent directed to a radio communication system that includes base stations and mobile stations that perform bi-directional communication to exchange two types of information are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board said, in an inter partes review by Quectel Wireless Solutions Co.
