The Federal Circuit reversed the decision of a federal district court in Texas denying JMOL of noninfringement of obviousness in Orange Electronic Co. Ltd.'s action against Autel Intelligent Technology Corp. Ltd. for infringement of a patent directed to an identification rewritable tire pressure-detecting apparatus. The appeals court said that no reasonable jury could have found the claims nonobvious in view of prior art, and that substantial evidence ddidn’t support the jury’s verdict of nonobviousness.
