The Federal Circuit affirmed decisions of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board that challenged claims of Express Mobile Inc.'s patents that relate to systems for generating code to provide content on a display of a device are unpatentable as obvious over prior art, in inter partes reviews by Meta Platforms Inc. and others. According to the court, the board’s findings and claims constructions are supported by substantial evidence.
