The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of a federal district court in Texas entering the parties’ stipulated final judgment of noninfringement in Lionra Technologies Ltd.'s action against Cisco Systems Inc. for infringement of a patent that discloses a network switching circuit. The appeals court said that Lionra’s patent license agreement with RPX Corporation extinguished Lionra’s infringement claims against Cisco.
