The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of the District of Utah granting DISH Network LLC and Echostar Technologies LLC judgment as a matter of law after a jury found they infringed ClearPlay Inc.'s patents that relate to multimedia content navigation and playback and awarded ClearPlay damages. The appeals court said that the district court didn’t err in its claim construction or in its review of the trial evidence.
