The Federal Circuit affirmed decisions of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in Sonos Inc.'s inter partes reviews of Implicit LLC’s patents relates to rendering of content at multiple rendering devices in a synchronized manner. The court said that certificates of inventorship issued after the final written decisions in the respective IPRs had no impact on the final written decisions.
