The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of the International Trade Commission barring Tineco Intelligent Technology Co. Ltd., TEK (Hong Kong) Science & Technology Ltd., and Tineco Intelligent Inc. from importing certain products that were found to infringe Bissell Inc. and Bissell Homecare Inc.'s patents for surface cleaning apparatuses, and finding that Tineco’s redesigned products didn’t infringe certain claims. The court said that the commission’s findings were supported by substantial evidence.
