The District of Utah granted in part and denied in part Mabe LLC’s emergency ex parte motion for a temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction in this action seeking to declare an individual’s baby carrier design patent invalid. The court ordered the individual baby carrier seller to notify Amazon.com Inc. that she is withdrawing the patent infringement notices for all of Mabe’s baby-carrier products, and preliminarily enjoined her from issuing similar patent infringement notices to Amazon or other online sales companies.
