LG Electronic Inc.'s inequitable conduct defense stands in TVnGO Ltd.'s action for infringement of patents covering “smart” televisions. LG showed that TVnGO failed to disclose material prior art, specifically identified TVnGO’s prosecuting attorneys as non-compliant, and pleaded sufficient facts to support a reasonable inference of specific intent to deceive during the prosecutions of all five patents-in-suit. The case is TVnGO Ltd. (BVI) v. LG Elecs., Inc., D.N.J., 18-10238 (RMB/KMW), 5/23/19.
