The District of Delaware denied TVision Insights Inc.'s motion to for summary judgment on The Nielsen Company (US) LLC’s action for infringement of a patent that discloses methods and apparatus for generating signatures for use in identifying media information. The court determined that the representative patent claim isn’t directed to a pure mathematical algorithm and instead is directed to patent-eligible subject matter.
