A federal district court in Texas granted in part and denied in part Sprinklr Inc.'s motion to dismiss VE Opening LLC’s action for infringement of a patent that relates to the field of methods for enabling the sharing of information between applications on a computing device. According to the court, one patent claim is directed to an abstract idea, but three dependent claims aren’t directed to abstract ideas.
