The District of Delaware granted Artisan Technologies LLC’s motion to dismiss JBF Interlude 2009 Ltd.'s action for direct and indirect infringement of patents that disclose video player integration within websites and methods and systems for in-video library. The court said that the claims are directed to the abstract ideas of collecting, organizing, and automatically displaying a playlist of video segments and to showing a video on a webpage for a product, and lack inventive concepts.
