The District of Delaware denied Netflix Inc.'s partial motion to dismiss Videolabs Inc. and VL Collective IP LLC’s action for infringement of patents for device capability-based discovery, packaging and provisioning of content for wireless mobile devices; a system and associated terminal, method and computer program product for controlling the flow of content; and a method for synchronizing content-dependent data segments of files. The court said the patents aren’t directed to patent ineligible subject matter, and it denied Netflix’s motion to dismiss Videolabs Inc.'s claims for indirect and willful infringement, because Videolabs adequately pleaded pre-suit knowledge.
