The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of a federal district court in Texas dismissing Dynapass IP Holdings LLC’s claim that Bank of America Corporation and Bank of America NA infringed a patent that relates to systems and methods for user authentication in which user tokens are supplied through communication devices. According to the appeals court, that district court didn’t err in construing the claim term “receiving the password.”
