The Federal Circuit affirmed the District of Delaware’s claim construction in Magnolia Medical Technologies Inc.'s action against Kurin Inc. for infringement of patents relating to designs to improve the accuracy of blood tests. The appeals court determined that the district court didn’t err in construing one patent as containing a means-plus-function term, or in granting JMOL of no infringement as to the other patent.
