The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of a federal district court in Texas of Stress Engineering Services Inc.'s noninfringement of Stylwan IP Holding LLC, Stylwan Inc., and Stylwan IIT LLC’s patents that relate to non-destructive systems and methods for assessing material integrity. According to the appeals court, the district court’s claim construction of the program limitation terms was supported by the intrinsic evidence and wasn’t erroneous.
