Case: Patents/Anticipation (Fed. Cir.)

The Federal Circuit affirmed the decision of the Patent Trial and Appeal Board that challenged claims of Centripetal Networks LLC’s patent directed to methods and systems of network security using efficient decryption are unpatentable as anticipated by prior art, in an inter partes reivew by Keysight Technologies Inc. According to the court, the board’s findings are supported by substantial evidence.
