A federal district court in California granted in part and denied in part Zazzle Inc.'s motion for summary judgment on a font designer’s action for fraudulently obtaining and subsequently violating a license to use software implementing a trio of her fonts. The court granted Zazzle summary judgment on fraudulent misrepresentation, fraudulent concealment, promissory fraud, and trademark infringement, denied Zazzle summary judgment on copyright infringement, and granted Zazzle partial summary judgment on breach of contract.
